Show Fantasy Points:
Selecting this option will allow fantasy football point total estimates to be displayed in the passing, rushing, and receiving leaders dialog boxes. Also includes fantasy points in when a passing, rushing, receiving, or defensive comparison is performed.

Show Debug Windows:
For debugging purposes. The user may also use this option to see exactly how each statistical category is used during a passing, rushing, receiving, or defensive comparison.

Show All Player:
Shows all players in the database for a particular category. For example, when a user selects the "Stats" menu item and then selects "Passing," all quarterbacks in order of total yards will be displayed. When this option is not selected only the top performers with enough qualifying attempts will be displayed.

Show Fractional Point Scoring:
Selecting this option causes fantasy football points to be calculated using the fractional scoring method. For example, 237 yards = 11.85 fantasy points when quarterbacks are awarded 20 points per yard. Leaving this option unselected results in the non-fraction scoring method to be used. For example, 237 yards = 11.00 fantasy points when quarterbacks are awarded 1 point per 20 yards. Everything following the decimal point is ignored.

Display Options

Basic:
This viewing option provides quick accesses to MagicStatBall's comparison functions. Only passing, rushing, receiving, team, offense, and defense options are available to the user through this option.

Advanced:
This viewing options provides a more comprehensive means of comparing individual players as well as teams.
    Add Button:
Add a single or group of players or teams to the "player box" located to the left of the "Add" button when the "Advanced" display option has been selected.

    Remove Button:
Remove a single or group of players or teams from the "player box."

    Remove All Button:
Remove all players or teams from the "player box."

    Compare Button:
Perform a statistical comparison between two players or teams.
Pressing the compare button opens the comparison window. This window shows the statistics for the two players or teams the user selected. Which statistical categories appear depends upon which were selected under Options and then categories. One the far right side of the comparison window you will see percentages which reflect the advantage(s) one player or team has over the another. For example, a quarterback has 2 touchdown passes while the quarterback he is being compared to has 1 touchdown pass. The quarterback with 2 touchdown passes has a 50% advantage over the other quarterback. So you will see 50% by the touchdown pass category. At the bottom of the comparison window you will see the average percentage advantage for both of the players or teams.

    Cancel Button:
After the user has double clicked on the name of a player or team (in the player box located to the left of the "Add" button when the "advanced" display mode has been selected) the "cancel" button will appear to the right of the "compare" button along with the name of the player or team at the top of the main program's window. This means that particular player or team has been selected for comparison. Single clicking the name of another player or team and then pressing the "compare" button will perform a comparison between the two selected players or teams.

    Weeks...:
This drop down menu allows the user to select the range of weeks the player or team comparison will cover. This can be each week played of the regular season or it can limit the range to only a few weeks. For example, the user can choose weeks 3 through 5 only for the next comparison. Also, the option is available for the user to select, for example, the "Last 2 Weeks" option which will limit the statistical comparison to only the current and the previous week. The user can also select any single week by choosing, for example, weeks... 3 through 3. This, of course, will only compare the selected players or teams performance during week 3.

    All Games:
This drop down menu allows the user to do advanced statistical filtering. Most are self explanatory. But a few require an explanation.
    - Home Games Only
    - Road Games Only
    - Home or Road (Auto): This option selects either home or road games depending upon which is upcoming for the selected players or teams. Power Rankings

A fully customizable, weight based power rankings system.
Though the power rankings are determined by each teams statistical performance in certain categories, the user is able to customize the power rankings in two important ways. One, by selecting which statistical categories will be used to set the power rankings. Two, by adjusting the weight setting for each of the selected categories. Increasing the weight for a particular category results in the teams that perform well in that category moving up in the power rankings. To adjust the weight settings select Options and then "Categories."
